ERIC MADDIX IN CRAINS ROUNDTABLE
Crain's Chicago Business featured Chi-Cap's Eric Maddix in its wealth management roundtable discussion "Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing".
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing addresses corporate citizenship and how investors can extend their personal values and priorities to their investments. In the roundtable, Crain's Custom Media asked three experts for their insights on how individuals can "do good" with their investments, and the impact ESG investing is having on public companies.
"Investors often ask 'how can I make a difference?'", commented Maddix. "Some clients have investments that are meaningful to them, such as companies that reflect their values or have a connection to family, friends or community, while others avoid investments that conflict with their values. We invite our clients to share what's meaningful to them, then our team makes every effort to reflect those values in the investments we make on their behalf. When our clients can invest in companies that reflect their values, and continue to grow their assets, everyone wins."
