CHI-CAP PREVAILS - CASE DISMISSED
Chicago Capital prevailed in a claim brought by a former employer of several Chi-Cap Partners. In a March 6, 2018 order, the court ruled that the former employers concern was "based on inference, not direct proof". The case was dismissed four months later.
“Although we anticipated the suit because that’s standard practice when you have a large group that leaves an investment firm. We were disappointed with the personalization of the suit and the incendiary nature of the claims that the court ruled were entirely based on inference”, commented Jim Mabie, Chairman.
