CHI-CAP IN THE COMMUNITY

Chicago Capital is pleased to support Chicago Furniture Bank with a day of service. The Chi-Cap team spent the day at the Furniture Bank’s Mabie Center boxing kitchenware sets. Each set contained gently used kitchen implements for families in need.

Chicago Furniture Bank provides dignity, stability and comfort to Chicagoans that face poverty by allowing clients to handpick an entire home’s worth of furnishings for free. Since 2018, the Furniture Bank has served more than 14,000 people and given away more than 10 million pounds of furniture.

“We’re proud to support Chicago Furniture Bank”, commented Chi-Cap’s Dave Mabie. “The Mabie Center was named for my dad, who was an early supporter of the Furniture Bank. We hope to carry on his commitment to the community.”
